Michael Long is a native of Aliceville, Alabama. He got his start in radio in 1980 at WLWI doing automated systems. However, when he joined the Air Force he really found his niche as a DJ. He worked at KAPE Radio spinning records and working as a DJ. Soon after the Air Force he went to work at WQIM in Prattville, Alabama. And then in 1989, he joined the "HOT" staff and has been making significant contributions as Operations Manager to WZHT Hot 105 ever since by bring A list artist to the Captiol City such as Lionel Richie, Alicia Keys and Brain McKnight. Michael is married and has 3 beautiful children (2 daughters and 1 son). And this is why he is pegged "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business" and "A Living Legend".
