Lil Scrappy Released From Jail

Lil Scrappy

Lil Scrappy is once again a free
man after a recent scrape with the law landed him behind bars. The ATL rapper was recently released
after being arrested on Monday in a police stop, TMZ reports.

Scrappy was apprehended for
failing to check in with his probation offer last month. He also neglected to
provide his P.O. with an updated home address. As a result of the offense, the
Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star will be required to report to his P.O.
more frequently, according to his lawyer.

Scrappy was placed on probation
back in 2008 for weed and gun possession. He has claimed that his recent failure
to check in with his probation officer was an honest mistake.

Nicki Minaj to Mariah Carey: "I'm Gonna Knock You Out"

Nicki Mianj, Mariah Carey

Can't say we didn't see this
coming. Round one of the highly anticipated celebrity grudge match between
American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey got
underway during Tuesday's audition in North Carolina. In a video obtained by TMZ, the rap queen came out swinging with a
verbal barrage filled with stern warnings for the pop legend.

"Get this
s--- in self control, get in control, get in control," Minaj barked at Carey as
fellow judge Keith Urban sat between them. "Don't lose your head. Don't
lose your head. Don't tell me I'm a gangster."

Despite the best efforts
of fourth A.I. judge Randy Jackson to play peacemaker, Minaj
continued.

"So every time you patronize me, I'ma take it back, and if
you've got a f----- problem handle it," Minaj warned as the pop diva continued
to talk back. "I told them [producers] I'm not f----- putting up with her
highness over there. Figure it the f--- out. Figure it out."

The blow up
seemed to stem from growing tension between the first-year judges as they
evaluate talent for the upcoming season. According to sources that spoke to TMZ,
the Young Money star even threatened to get physical with Mimi.

"I'm
gonna knock you out," is what Nicki reportedly said to Carey before the video
starts.

What's clear at the end of the clip is that the Queens rapper
had reached her boiling point.

"I'm not going to sit here every f-----
minute to have you come down here and harass me every minute, every
day."

It was reported that Idol producers called off auditions for
the day to let cooler heads prevail. While many have speculated that the
tenacious divas were signed to multi-million dollar deals, in part, to add some
tension to the judge's panel, this first clash may have been too real for TV,
and has some Fox execs worried about the beef going into the start of the season
in January.

When the new A.I. judges panel was finally announced
last month, both stars played down rumors that Carey did not approve of Nicki's
signing. Now it seems those whispers and rumblings were true.

Mike Tyson Lands a Cameo in Scary Movie 5

Mike Tyson

Mike
Tyson
got a double dose of good professional and personal news. The
former boxer turned Broadway star just added a new credit to his Hollywood
résumé and he’s recovering well from surgery.

Blackfilm.com is reporting Tyson will be making a
cameo appearance in Scary Movie 5. Directed by Malcolm Lee, cousin
of Spike Lee, the fifth installment of the fright film parody already has
a starring cast that includes Charlie Sheen, Erica Ash, Terry
Crews
, Heather Locklear, Anthony
Anderson
and Lindsey Lohan.

The former champ was spotted on an Atlanta set with Locklear last
Thursday. Scary Movie 5 is due in theaters April 2013.

Tyson is also new and improved on the inside.

EURweb.com is reporting that Tyson arrived at a
charity auction this past weekend in Las Vegas sporting a neck brace and nasty
scar. It has been revealed that the 46-year-old boxer recently underwent surgery
to fix a degenerative disc, and the procedure included having titanium pins
inserted to support his neck. The former heavyweight champ had been suffering
from an old spinal injury that continued to cause him pain.

A rep for the boxing champ told TMZ, "He feels great...just has to wear the neck brace to
keep everything stable for the next three weeks. It's a very common surgery
especially for athletes."

Jim Jones Strikes Plea Deal in Casino Brawl Case

Jim Jones

Jim Jones has escaped
legal trouble after striking a life-saving plea deal with prosecutors. The
Dipset rapper had been charged with three simultaneous misdemeanors for his
involvement in a February casino riot but, thanks to the deal, will now only be
required to pay a $1,000 fine, TMZ reports.

The incident took place at
the MGM Grand casino in Foxwoods, Connecticut, when an angry man reportedly got
in Jones's face and the two started to fight. Things escalated to full-blown
mayhem after their respective friends got involved and it took half-a-dozen cops
and mace to get the riot under control.

At the time, Jones was arrested
and charged with breach of peace, interfering with an officer and inciting a
riot. He initially plead "not guilty" to all three, but under his recent deal
with prosecutors he changed his plea on the interfering with an officer charge
to "guilty." The other two charges were subsequently dropped and Jones will only
be hit with the fine. Looks like the Harlem native dodged a bullet.

Rihanna Is Top 5 on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Women in Entertainment

Rihanna can add another
ranking to her list of accomplishments. The 24-year-old singer landed at No. 4
on Forbes' Highest Paid Women in Entertainment list
in a tie with talk show mogul Ellen DeGeneres. Rih Rih earned a cool $53
million this year from all of her performances, album sales, endorsement deals
and other business ventures. She is the second highest-paid Black woman on the
list with Oprah Winfrey still holding the No. 1 spot.

Britney Spears came in at No. 2 earning only $5 million more than the
Barbados pop star. She also can credit her income to album sales and tours,
although next year she'll have the $15 million contract with X-Factor to
add. The show's newest judge is being praised for her tough love approach to
getting contestants in shape. In third place came Taylor Swift, who
earned $57 million.

Regardless, Rihanna has a great shot at moving up the list next year. She has
her fragrance Rebelle, which she released in February, and starred in her
first show, Styled to Rock, on the UK's Sky Living network. Her seventh
studio album is scheduled for a November 2012 release, and its corresponding
tour will launch in March of next year.
