Usher Orders Wife Out of His Mansion

Usher is looking to sell his Georgia mansion… on the one hand, to
lighten his property load. On the other, to get its current occupant — his
ex-wife — out.
TMZ reports that a source close to the couple
said Tameka Raymond received a letter from Usher’s lawyer informing her
that she has to find a new place to live because the singer plans to put the 12,000 sq. ft. house up for
sale.
For the last few years, Tameka was allowed to live in the home.
Unfortunately, under their 2009 divorce agreement, Usher retained his right to
sell the property any time he wished, just as long as he gave his ex 60 days
notice.
Sources have said Tameka isn’t taking this latest development
well because she has no income of her own. And since the divorce she’s been
financially dependent on Usher.
No word yet on how much Usher is selling the mansion for.
This latest development comes
shortly after Usher opened up to Oprah Winfrey on her show Oprah’s
Next Chapter about his former marriage and its shortcomings.
Nicki Minaj Gets Reality TV Specials

Nicki Minaj is expanding her TV presence to include reality specials.
The platinum-selling
rap-tress, who recently signed on as a judge on American Idol (and also
launched her own perfume) is going to be featured in a trio of specials on E! in November.
In the reality TV specials, Minaj will offer viewers exclusive intimate
access to her personal and professional life, including never-before-seen
footage.
Will these specials look at
such Minaj moments as rumors she’s feuding with fellow Idol judge
Mariah Carey or recent uproar over her pro-Mitt Romney line on the song “Mercy"? We’ll have
to wait to find out.
No word on when the specials will air.
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose Cover XXL

Wiz Khalifa and Amber
Rose are inseparable on the cover of the next issue of XXL magazine. The affectionate hip hop
couple, who are expecting their first child together, grace the cover of the
October/November issue in a stark black and white portrait.
In the
intimate photo, a visibly pregnant Rose presses her hand against the chest of
her shirtless fiancé. Additional portraits in a similar vein are found inside,
along with candid comments from the lovebirds about their expectations for
parenthood.
"This is my first child ever in life. I gotta go hard at
everything," Wiz says in the article. "As hard as I go in the studio, I gotta go
just as hard taking care of my baby and making sure she's alright, and I'm
spending time with her and she doesn't feel neglected."
Lil Wayne Breaks Elvis Presley's Billboard Record

Lil Wayne is the new Elvis
Presley when it comes to Billboard hits. The inimitable MC from New Orleans has
just surpassed the king of rock in total number of
songs to land on the Hot 100.
"Celebration," the latest single from Game,
is the 109th song to make the chart with Wayne appearing as either a lead or
featured artist. Presley's record was 108 spanning between 1958 and
2003.
Forty-two of Weezy's charting singles were his own, while 67 of the
others came from his long list of guest appearances.
To date, the only
artist or group with more hits than the YMCMB captain is the cast of
Glee. The singing actors from the hit Fox series have accumulated a
whopping 204 charting singles since the show premiered in 2009.
Cash
Money Records boss Birdman issued a statement praising his star artist.
"This is a true milestone in Lil Wayne's career and the legacy of YMCMB.
Surpassing Elvis Presley is a testament to Wayne's creativity and innovation in
music over the years. We look forward to 109 more."
BET Hip Hop Awards Unaffected by Incidents

Tonight during a taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards
2012 (not the BET Awards, which went down without incident two months ago) an
altercation between two rap entourages broke out backstage. Atlanta police and
BET security quickly defused the altercation.
According to the Associated Press, police
spokesman Carlos Campos said officers responded to the scuffle at around 7:30
p.m. EST Campos says there were no shots fired.
More drama unfolded as
two men were involved in a fistfight in the parking lot of the venue.
BET Networks issued a statement in response to
the many inaccurate reports and rumors circulating on social
media.
"BET Networks works very hard to bring the
best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has
celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select
attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks
does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve
the situation as quickly as possible."
Despite the actions of a few the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards embodied
the true spirit of hip hop and was not impacted at all by any incidents. Tune
in on Tuesday, October 9, 8P/7C to watch the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.
