Kanye West is clarifying his recent comments comparing himself to creative visionaries such as Steve Jobs. On Tuesday Kanye appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and explained that he made the comparison because he idolizes the late Apple co-founder.
During the interview, Kanye also cleared up what he called "a misconception" about the way he creates. While many people believe that his creations are self-serving, he explained that he created his company DONDA as a place for artists from all realms to gather and come up with the best ideas. He also added that he hopes DONDA will eventually become the new Disney.
Kanye also opened up about his relationship with fiancée Kim Kardashian, who appears in his video for his track "Bound 2," which he premiered on "Ellen." He says Kim is the one person he could count on to boost his spirits during his lowest moments. He added that he is comforted to know that the reality show star isn't with him for his money.
