Listen to Diddy on iHeartRadio
Despite reportedly losing $1 million to Rick Ross in a recent dice game, Diddy's bottom line is still the highest in the hip-hop world.
According to Forbes.com, Diddy earned $50 million in the past year, landing him at number one on the magazine's annual list of hip-hop's highest earning "Cash Kings." Most of the hip-hop mogul's earnings came from his endorsement deal with Ciroc Vodka, as well as his Bad Boy record label and Sean John clothing line.
Jay Z may not be the "Cash King," but his hip-hop empire raked in $43 million. He managed to grab the number two spot on the list through concert earnings, as well as through endorsement deals with Armand de Brignac champagne and D'Ussé cognac. Jay also boosted his bank account with a $5 million deal with Samsung ahead of his recent album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Just short of Jay Z on the list is hip-hop's West Coast doctor - Dr. Dre. The rap veteran raked in $40 million, mostly through his Beats by Dr. Dre line of headphones.
Nicki Minaj also managed to land in the top five hip-hop earners, with $29 million in income over the past year.
Meantime, Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman rounds out the top-five. He took in $21 million.
Other emcees on the list include Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Drake and Snoop Lion.
