Beanie Sigel won't be leaving prison any time soon. The rapper is currently serving two years in federal prison for failing to pay 348-thousand dollars in taxes, but now he will be serving an additional two years.
Philly.com reports that on Wednesday - which was also Beanie's birthday - the rapper was sentenced to 23 months in prison on drug charges.
Beanie was arrested back in August after officers pulled over a car he was riding in as a passenger. During a search, police found a bottle of codeine on Beanie. In the vehicle authorities also discovered marijuana and a gun.
Beanie and driver were eventually charged with gun and drug possession. After Beanie pleaded guilty to the drug charges, the district attorney dismissed the gun charges.
