Tuesday, October 30th marked the ten anniversary of the murder of Jam Master Jay. The pioneering DJ, born Jason Mizzell, was shot to death inside his Hollis, Queens, recording studio on October 30th, 2002.
The murder still remains unsolved, though a recent article in the New York Daily News suggested that Jay's former associate Curtis Scoon was somehow involved. Scoon, however, has vigorously maintained his innocence on Twitter and hinted that he's considering suing the News for slander.
