(WENN) - Rapper and poet Talib Kweli has slammed Peter Andrew for allegedly using one of his verses on a new album track without permission.
The hip-hop icon was stunned when he learned the Australian pop star had used a sample from a mixtape he made with Z-Trip on a new tune titled "Fly Away."
The track appears on Andre's upcoming album Angels & Demons, and Kweli insists he has never collaborated with the singer.
NME.com reports Kweli and his managers attempted to resolve the dispute with Andre's handlers weeks ago, but the rapper claims their response was "disrespectful" - and now he has taken to Twitter to call out the pop star.
