Darnell Dockett is no stranger to Twitter blunders but now the Arizona Cardinals defensive end looks like he might have “tweeted” with the wrong person.

During last night’s BCS championship, Alabama QB AJ MCCarron’s girlfriend Miss Alabama Katherine Webb became the big story after announcer Brent Musburger mentioned her and the cameras shot in on her in the crowd.

Quickly thousands of admirers, found her on twitter and began following the beauty queen. Her Twitter followers jumped from around 2k to over 100k in a matter of minutes.

Even soon-to-be married NBA superstar Lebron James followed Webb before quickly removing the follow.

However, although James came to his senses, Arizona Cardinals Dockett went a little further than following he asked the “spoken for” Webb out on a date!

Dockett intended on sending her a private message but accidentally tweeted it out for the world to see. He tweeted:

“@_KatherineWebb aye u going to king of diamonds Monday after game?”

“Aye @_KatherineWebb hit me (XXX) XXX-XXXX when game over, lets go to wing stop then King of diamond.”

He then quickly tweeted, “(Expletive) that was suppose to be DM!”

Dockett stands at 6’4, 290 lbs, while Webb’s boyfriend McCarron comes in at 6’4 and a much slimmer 209 lbs but that did not stop him from responding to Dockett’s proposal.
